About me

I'm Vanessa, yoga instructor at Yoginess Collective. I love teaching yoga for mental health as well as physical therapy. I enjoy experiencing the sense of connection with different people, exploring with them every style of yoga, to make it accessible for everyone.
My yoga journey officially began in my 20s in a lovely intimate studio in Sydney and then it became part of my lifestyle. The mat became a place where I belong, in the hard times or the good ones. A space where I felt and feel safe to laugh, to cry, to sweat, to learn, to grow, to express myself, to let go and to dream.
After years of committed practice and after my second pregnancy I finally decide to take the step to teach. I completed my 200hr RYT certificate with Kriya yoga studio, and it was an incredible journey of self discovering.
The best type of yoga for me it really depends on my mood, and the time I have to spare. I can finally understand what my body and mind needs and flow accordingly

I offer a range of yoga classes suitable for all levels. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced practitioner, I am here to guide you through this beautiful journey. I specializes in prenatal and postnatal yoga, yoga wheel prop classes, and sound bath healing sessions. Join me around Wollongong and Illawarra region to deepen your practice and find balance in your everyday life.
